Chris Kirschner on John Collins Trading Market: Talking to people since the design, it seems that the market for Collins has declined quite a bit. Now, I’m not sure who’s interested in him… The way it looks for John right now, the market for him has definitely dwindled. There’s no way the Hawks just keep him. The Hawks aren’t just going to trade John for nothing. We are talking about someone who is a very good player.

Outside San Antonio, there doesn’t seem to be any serious active trading talk around Collins. Sacramento, Portland, Boston and Brooklyn all showed some interest in Collins around the design, but none of those teams seem close to Atlanta on Collins deals right now. -through Bleacher report / June 29, 2022
Jake Fisher: The last I’ve heard from multiple people now is that, as far as I know, John Collins is indeed no longer being talked about. And I know from conversations with people from different corners of this situation that Danilo Gallinari and how much money is in his partial warranty is certainly widely discussed. -through Spotify / June 28, 2022
